After you have selected and customized your home with your chosen options, you then need to select an Installation Plan. There are essential steps to complete your MHI modular home in addition to building the home in our factory. We have three different plans to choose from. With each plan, you can determine how involved you would like us to be with these steps. For instance, you may want to have us build the foundations on your site or you may choose to use a local contractor. The plans offer flexibility to suit your needs.

Basic Installation Plan (Buy Direct)

For this package, you are responsible for everything except the manufacturing of your house (that’s our job!). You perform the site feasibility research, obtain site permits from a local jurisdiction, and undertake all site construction. Once your site is prepared, we deliver the modules to your location, then set and secure them together. This is a good choice if you are a contractor or developer or are already working with either. This is also the most cost effective plan because we are minimally involved.

Site Work Installation Plan

For this package, you are responsible for site construction only. We perform the site feasibility research and obtain site permits. Meanwhile, you clear the area, build the foundation, and deliver all utilities. Once your site is prepared, we deliver the modules to your location, then set and secure them. This is a good choice if you would like us involved in the initial research, or you can have a local contractor you are familiar with to undertake all site construction.

Deluxe Installation Plan (Turn Key)

For this package, we handle everything from soup to nuts*. We perform the site feasibility, obtain site permits, and undertake all site construction in preparation for delivery of your MHI modular home. We then deliver, set and secure your home. This is an excellent plan if you’re looking for the convenience and efficiency of working with a single company, plus the confidence of working directly with the designer, manufacturer, and installer (that’s us!).

* Excluded Items

• Survey - professional engineering and survey needed of lot.
• Demolition (if required) - demolition and removal of existing home, unless otherwise stated.
• Landscape/Hardscape - the planting of trees, shrubs, or grass as well as the installation of patios, retaining walls,   and walkways etc.
